I'm going to start making a music pack inspired by f-zero with sound inspired by the video consoles of the time (Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, Sony Playstation).

I leave you the list of song titles, the titles indicate the biome to which they will belong.

Maybe I'll add more songs, I don't know, but for now this will be the setlist.

I will make a loop version with exclusive introduction for patreon, and a loop version without introduction for itch+patreon.

The duration of the songs I think will be 90 seconds, but maybe I'll change my mind later.

In addition, I have started recording the extended versions, exclusive to Patreon. The Patreon zip right now only has the first song of the pack but in extended mode, I will add the others as I record them.

The zip of exclusive loops for patreon I have added several songs. Up to number 6 (vulcan biome).

I have updated both zip files, I have finished recording the 14 songs. In the next few days I will publish the typical preview video and the corresponding album listenable on bandcamp, spotify, etc.

I will publish the pack on itch.io in a few weeks (I haven't thought of any date, but it will be in June or July.

Nueva canción, esta canción es para el bioma de ruinas, he tratado de mantener una atmósfera un poco misteriosa, y he empleado algunos detalles de metal progresivo.

He añadido otra canción más, bioma espacial.

A demás he comenzado a grabar las versiones extendidas, exclusivas para Patreon. El zip de Patreon ahora mismo solo tiene la primera canción del pack pero en modo extendido, iré añadiendo las demás conforme las grabe.

He añadido otra canción más, bioma acuático.

El zip de loops exclusivos para patreon he añadido varias canciones. Hasta la número 6 (bioma vulcan).

UPDATE 2026-05-05:

He actualizado ambos archivos zip, he terminado de grabar las 14 canciones. En los próximos días publicaré el típico video de preview y el correspondiente álbum escuchable en bandcamp, spotify, etc.

El pack lo publicaré en itch.io dentro de unas semanas (no he pensado ninguna fecha, pero será en junio o julio.

Hello. The first packs I made, all the tracks were loops that were repeated completely at the end.

But at one point I started doing all loops with introduction, which require the developer to configure the loop start and end points.

Each of the options has its advantages: The first option is easier to use, it is just to place the audio in the project and that's it, the second option is a little better, but it requires configuring each of the tracks so that it loops well.

So, do you want the next songs to have an intro and it is necessary to configure start and end points, or do you prefer that they are completely repeated and it is not necessary?

The next pack I think I'll do it inspired by FZero, with a sound trying to emulate the sound of the late 90s, that is... as some games of Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, Playstation, etc... sounded like...

Hello, I have started a new music pack for video games. It will be accessible for free worldwide when you publish it on itch.io, but Patreon PRO members will have early access and once published exclusive access to the "Premium" version of the pack. I will do as I have been doing in the previous packs: I will publish the songs here and once finished I will leave this content exclusively on Patreon for a few weeks and once that time has passed I will publish the Lite Pack on Itch and another version with more content for Patreon. My plan is to publish the pack throughout February, or maybe March.

This pack I plan to make several dark and technological songs, that transmit hacker setting, following in the tail of volume 1 of Code Injection that I published a few years ago.

I start by presenting two songs, but I still don't provide you with the sheet with the start and end points of the loop because I haven't worked on it yet. When I show you the following songs I will attach the information to configure the loop.

As you can see, I haven't even thought about the names of the songs yet hahaha. In the next update I will put names and I will also add the ogg version.

I've made a lot of progress in recent months. Don't think that I work on the songs sencuentially, I'm working on them and I'm finishing them as I think they're good. I have the structure of many almost finished and I just need to make sure if all the details are correct.

Having said that... Here are two more songs. With these we have already 10.

I have titled all of them. I have kept the order of the songs so that you can easily identify them in the spritesheet, in case you have started using them.

In a few weeks I think I will be able to finish it, and as always, I will leave the pack available exclusively on Patreon for a few more weeks and then I will publish it on itch.io. The itch.io songs will be the same but with a shorter duration.

Hola, he comenzado un nuevo pack de música para video juegos. Empiezo presentando dos canciones, pero aún no os facilito la hoja con los puntos de inicio y final de loop porque no he trabajado en ella todavía. Cuando os enseñe las siguientes canciones adjuntaré la informacion para configurar el loop.

Como veis aún ni siquiera he pensado en los nombres de las canciones jajaja. En el próximo update les pondré nombres y también añadiré la versión ogg.

He avanzado bastante en estos últimos meses. No creáis que trabajo en las canciones sencuencialmente, voy trabajando en ellas y las voy acabando conforme creo que están bien. Tengo la estructura de muchas casi terminadas y solamente me falta cercionarme de si están todos los detalles correctos.

Dicho esto... Aquí os dejo otras dos canciones. Con estas llevamos ya 10.
He puesto título a todas ellas. He mantenido el orden de las canciones para que las podáis identificar fácilmente en el spritesheet, en caso de que las hayáis empezado a usar.

En unas pocas semanas creo que podré darlo por finalizado, y como siempre, dejaré el pack disponible exclusivamente en Patreon por unas cuantas semanas más y después lo publicaré en itch.io. Las canciones de itch.io serán las mismas pero con una duración menor.

Besides composing, I love tinkering with code to build tools that make my studio life easier. Today I’m adding a new plugin to the collection: DKBD Step Shaper.

It is a rhythm generator that is based on openings and closures that you can assign to the volume, filter, panning and midi. I created it because I always wanted a tool that would allow me to turn a pad into something rhythmic as is usually done in trance music and so on, but really putting imagination you can achieve other types of effects such as tremolos or transitions.

Besides composing, I’ve been spending some time lately developing my own audio tools to improve my studio workflow. I’ve decided to release them as a small collection of JSFX plugins for REAPER.

While I’m sharing three utilities, the one I find most useful is DKBD Spectrum Bars, a spectrum analyzer I designed specifically to be used within the Mixer Control Panel (MCP). It helps me keep an eye on frequency balance without opening extra windows.
